The meter will turn on. An
image of a test strip with
a flashing blood drop will
appear letting you know the
meter is ready to test.
6. Squeeze a small drop of
control solution on a clean,
nonabsorbent surface,
such as a piece of wax
paper. Do not apply
control solution to your
fingertip or to the test
strip directly from the
bottle.
7. Immediately touch the tip
of the test strip to the drop
of control solution. The
solution is pulled into the test
strip through the tip.
8. Hold it in the drop until the meter beeps.
5. Gently rock the control bottle before opening to ensure it
is mixed well.
