NOTE: Ensure enough liquid has been added.
i. Place the Lid (2) onto the Cooking Pot (3) holding the Lid by the Lid Handle (1).
j. Turn the User Control to Setting “D” (HIGH)
k. The Red Indicator on the User Control (6) will illuminate, and cooking will begin.
l. Cook for the time recommended in your recipe.
m. Switch o and unplug the Slow Cooker.
n. Use Oven Gloves or Mitts to remove the Cooking Pot and Lid prior to serving.
o. Once the food is served and the Slow Cooker is fully cooled down, clean as described in
the Cleaning and Storage section.
NOTE: We recommend you clean the appliance as soon as possible after use before food
residues dry on.
4. Cooking a Meal Without using the Sear Feature:
a. First wash the Sear Cooking Pot and Lid as described on PAGE 9.
b. Remove the Lid (2) from the Cooking Pot (3).
c. Add your ingredients and stir thoroughly.

e. Turn the Power Switch to Setting 2 (HIGH)
f. The Power Indicator (7) will illuminate, and cooking will begin.

i. Use Oven Gloves or Mitts to remove the Cooking Pot and Lid prior to serving.
j. Once the food is served and the Slow Cooker is fully cooled down, clean as described in

5. Slow Cooking Tips
• Times will vary depending on the quantity of food being cooked and the types of
ingredients. Be aware of this and always allow sucient time.
• If you want to extend the cooking time you can use Setting “C” (LOW) part way
through the cooking cycle, but we recommend you always allow the food to come to a
boil on Setting “D” for a few minutes rst.
