• Do not overll your Slow Cooker the maximum practical capacity is around 3.0l.

EARTHED supply.
Electrical Requirements
When using electrical appliances basic safety precautions should always be followed.
Check that the voltage indicated on the rating plate corresponds with that of your local
network before connecting the appliance to the mains power supply.
If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewirable plug tted to the mains lead and should the
fuse need replacing, you must use an ASTA or BS approved type conforming to BS1362 and of
the same rating. If in doubt consult a qualied electrician for advice or assistance. If you need
to remove the plug - DISCONNECT IT FROM THE MAINS and cut it o the mains lead.
You must then dispose of it IMMEDIATELY and SAFELY. Never attempt to re-use the
plug or insert it into a socket outlet as there is a serious danger of an electric shock.
How to use your Sear Slow Cooker
To begin using your Sear Slow Cooker, rst, carefully unpack it and check that it has not
sustained any damage during transportation. Also check that all the items shown in the
PRODUCT OVERVIEW are present. We recommend that you retain your packaging so
that, in the unlikely event of a fault developing, you are able to return the product in the
correct packaging to ensure best protection.
Before first use.
1. Remove all packaging material.
2. Remove any stickers or labels from the appliance. DO NOT remove the Product Rating
Plate.
3. Thoroughly wash the Sear Cooking Pot (3), and Lid (2) in hot soapy water using a non-
abrasive sponge. Rinse and dry.
NOTE: Neither the Cooking Pot nor the Lid are Dishwasher safe.
WARNING. DO NOT use abrasive, caustic or solvent cleaners on your appliance.
These may damage the surface nishes.
