NOTA :
a) Assurez-vous que l’inscription
« TOP » sur le dessus de la pile est
orientée vers les voyants DEL (5 et 6)
sur le chargeur.
b) Assurez-vous que la pile est insérée
à fond dans le réceptacle du chargeur.
3. Lorsque la pile est insérée dans le
chargeur, le voyant DEL rouge (5)
reste allumé et l’autre voyant DEL
(6) devient orange, ce qui indique
que la pile est en charge.
4. Une fois que la pile est chargée à
bloc, le voyant DEL supérieur (5)
reste rouge et le voyant DEL
inférieur (6) devient vert.
5. Après avoir chargé la pile à bloc,
retirez-la du chargeur et
débranchez le chargeur.
NOTA :
a) Contrairement aux piles tradition-
nelles, les piles au lithium-ion perdent
très peu d’énergie et conservent
presque toute leur pleine puissance.
Lorsque la pile est complètement
déchargée, le circuit électronique de
commande de la pile coupe immédiate-
ment la puissance de sortie vers l’outil,
sans avertissement. Une pile
déchargée doit être rechargée le plus
tôt possible afin de conserver son
potentiel de tension de fonctionnement
et pour la prochaine utilisation.
b) Ne chargez PAS la pile lorsque l’aire
de travail ou la température de la pile
est égale ou inférieure à 32 °F (0 °C),
ou supérieure à 113 °F (45 °C). La
température optimale est de 68 °F
(20 °C).
c) Après avoir chargé la pile à bloc,
retirez-la du chargeur et débranchez le
chargeur.

Trimming
Position the bottom of the bump head
about 3" (8 cm) above the ground and
at a slight angle (Fig. 14). Allow only the
tip of the line to make contact with the
grass.
NOTE: Allowing more than just the tip
of the line to do the trimming will result
in rougher cutting action and excessive
wear on the line.
Scalping
Scalping an area will remove all
unwanted vegetation down to the
ground. When scalping, position the
bottom of the bump head about
3" (8 cm) above the ground and at a
slight angle (Fig. 15). Allow only the tip
of the line to make contact with the
ground.
NOTE: Scalping is ideal for use around
trees, shrubs, posts, ornaments, etc. Be
aware that scalping will increase
trimmer line wear considerably.
Mowing
Use the GasLess
TM
trimmer to mow
small or rough areas where a
conventional lawn mower cannot be
used. When mowing, keep the line
parallel to the ground at the desired
height (Fig. 16). Move the trimmer from
left to right while cutting. This cutting
motion will throw grass and debris
predominantly away from the operator.
NOTE: Be careful not to allow the bump
head to contact the ground, as this
could result in scalping and/or releasing
more trimmer line from the spool.
