6. Attaching the hinge
a. Loosen the T-nuts on the mounting hinge so that they will slide into the slots of the extrusion. Orient it so
that the silver inserts on the hinge go through the slot of the extrusion.
b. Carefully slide the T-nut into the slot at the end of the extrusion piece already attached to the tripod via
the sliding block, as seen in Figure 10.
NOTE: THE HINGE CAN BE PLACED ON ANY OF THE 4 SIDES OF THE EXTRUSION, BUT THE TOP SIDE IS MOST COMMONLY
USED FOR HORIZONTAL MOUNTING, AS SHOWN IN FIGURE 10.
