Exterior Component Removal and Installation
FEED TUBE REMOVAL
WARNING
Turn off the power and water to the product
before starting this procedure.
To remove the feed tube, first uninstall the unit. Then,
remove:
Top and side insulation
Rear insulation
Upper rack
Upper spray arm
Main control module
Rear access cover
REMOVE THE FEED TUBE
Remove the upper spray arm nut by turning it
counterclockwise.
Use a

16
” socket to remove the nuts from the top
feed tube bracket cover.
Remove the top feed tube bracket cover from the
unit.
Use a
5
/
16
” socket to remove the nuts from the rear
feed tube bracket cover.
Remove the rear feed tube bracket cover from the
unit.
Through the MCM opening, use pliers to compress
the spring clamp on the sump feed tube coupler.
Slide the clamp toward the sump.
Remove the bottom of the feed tube from the sump
feed tube coupler.
Remove the feed tube from the middle feed tube
seal, and remove the middle feed tube gasket.
Remove the top of the feed tube from the unit, and
remove the top feed tube gasket.
Pull the feed tube from the unit.
