Exterior Component Removal and Installation
FEED TUBE INSTALLATION
CAUTION
When servicing, use caution and monitor the unit
for leaks before installing the unit into the product
opening.
After installing the feed tube, install:
Rear access cover
Main control module
Upper spray arm
Upper rack
Rear insulation
Top and side insulation
INSTALL THE FEED TUBE
Lubricate the new feed tube gaskets with soapy
water.
Lubricate the middle feed tube port with soapy water.
Install the feed tube gaskets onto the feed tube.
Install the top of the feed tube through the upper
spray arm hole.
Install the feed tube into the bracket between the
feed tube ridges.
Install the middle feed tube outlet into the middle
feed tube port.
TIP: Do not force the middle feed tube outlet into
the middle feed tube port. Doing so can cause a
leak.
Install the bottom of the feed tube into the sump feed
tube coupler.
Through the MCM opening, use pliers to compress
and slide the spring clamp from the sump feed tube
coupler onto the feed tube. Release the clamp to
tighten it.
Place the rear feed tube bracket cover onto the unit.
Use a

16
” socket to install the nuts onto the rear
feed tube bracket cover.
Place the top feed tube bracket cover onto the unit.
Use a
5
/
16
” socket to install the nuts onto the top feed
tube bracket cover.
Install the upper spray arm nut onto the feed tube.
