Base Component Removal and Installation
WATER INLET VALVE INSTALLATION
CAUTION
When servicing, use caution and monitor the unit
for leaks before installing the unit into the product
opening.
After installing the water inlet valve, install:
Drain pump
Upper front cover
Lower front cover
Kickplate
Door panel
Sump filter screen and fine filter
Lower spray arm
Lower rack
INSTALL THE WATER INLET VALVE
TIP: It is critical that the water inlet line elbow is
installed parallel to the floor of the unit. If the inlet line
is not oriented correctly, stress on the inlet line can
cause a leak.
Connect the fill hose connection to the water inlet
valve.
Install the water inlet valve onto the rear mounts.
Use a

” socket to install the water inlet valve front
mounting screw.
Connect the air break hose to the water inlet valve
discharge.
Use pliers to install the hose clamp onto the water
inlet valve hose.
Connect the wire connector to the water inlet valve.
Connect the wire connector to the flow meter.
