If your Cowon MP3 Player isn't turning on, ensure it has sufficient battery level or is properly connected to a power supply. If the battery is completely discharged, charge it for a while before attempting to turn it on. As a last resort, you can try to reset the device by holding the power button or touch screen for 6 seconds or more.

What to do after formatting Cowon MP3 Player on PC?
    • S
      Sara RossAug 27, 2025
If you formatted your Cowon MP3 Player on your PC and now it's not being recognized, the memory has been reduced, or the file transfer rate is slower, it's because the built-in memory is pre-formatted and doesn't need additional formatting. If formatting is necessary, use the internal memory formatting function within the product. When formatting via a PC USB connection, use a utility supporting large-capacity FAT32, set the default allocation size to 32KB, or format as exFAT to prevent memory or speed decline. Note that this product doesn't support formatting on MAC OS.
