Here's what you can do: * Ensure correct blade tension by adjusting it until the blade just doesn't slip on the wheel. * Secure the material in a vise. * Adjust the wheel alignment if the blade rubs on the wheel flange. * Adjust misaligned guides. * Use a thinner blade if the current one is too thick for the wheel diameter. * Make a longer annealing cycle if cracking occurs at the weld. Also, consult a machinist handbook to check for the correct speed and feed, as well as the recommended blade type for the material. Ensure the blade is placed in contact with the work after the motor has started.

Also, try the next lower speed if the current speed is too high.

  If the blade of your Craftex Cordless Saw is cutting crookedly, it could be due to several reasons: * Ensure the work is square by adjusting the vise to be square with the blade and always clamp the workpiece. * Adjust the guide bearing to be just .001 greater than the maximum thickness of the saw, including the weld. * Move the guide as close as possible to the workpiece if the blade guides are spaced out too much. * Tighten the blade guide assembly and the blade guide bearing assembly. Also, reduce feed pressure by increasing spring tension on the side of the saw, increase blade tension a little at a time, and redo the blade tracking adjustment according to the manual if the blade tracks too far away from the wheel flanges.
