  Excessive blade breakage in your Craftex Cordless Saw can be caused by several factors. Here's what you can do: * Ensure correct blade tension by adjusting it until the blade just doesn't slip on the wheel. * Secure the material in a vise. * Adjust the wheel alignment if the blade rubs on the wheel flange. * Adjust misaligned guides. * Use a thinner blade if the current one is too thick for the wheel diameter. * Make a longer annealing cycle if cracking occurs at the weld. Also, consult a machinist handbook to check for the correct speed and feed, as well as the recommended blade type for the material. Ensure the blade is placed in contact with the work after the motor has started.

  Premature blade dulling in your Craftex Cordless Saw can stem from several causes. To address this: * Use a blade with finer teeth. * If there are hard spots or scale in/on the material, reduce speed and increase feed pressure (for scale), or just increase feed pressure (for hard spots). * If work hardening of the material occurs (especially with stainless steel), increase feed pressure by reducing spring tension. * Ensure the blade is installed correctly; if installed backward, remove it, twist it inside out, and reinstall. * Increase tension to the proper level if blade tension is insufficient. Also, try the next lower speed if the current speed is too high.
