maintained,lubricatedand tunedupaccordingtothe instructionsinthe owner'smanual,
Searswill repairor replacefree ofchargeany parts thatarefoundto bedefectivein
materialor workmanshipaccordingto the guidelinesof coveragelistedbelow.Searswill
alsoprovidefree laborfor these applicablewarrantedpartsforthe two full years.During
the first 30 daysof purchase,therewill be nochargesto servicethe productatyour
homefor issuescoveredbythis warranty.(Seeexclusionsbelow). Foryour conve-
nience, IN HOMEwarrantyservicewill still beavailableafterthe first 30 daysof pur-

This Warrantydoesnot cover:
Expendableitemswhichbecomeworn duringnormaluse, includingbut not limitedto
blades,spark plugs,air cleaners,belts,andoilfilters.
StandardMaintenanceServicing,oilchanges, or tune-ups
Tire replacementor repaircaused by puncturesfrom outsideobjects,such as nails,
thorns,stumps,or glass.
Repairsnecessarybecauseof operatorabuse,includingbut not limitedto, damage
causedby towingobjectsbeyondthe capabilityof the ridingequipment,impacting
objectsthat bendthe frameor crankshaft,or over-speedingthe engine.
Repairsnecessarybecauseof operatornegligence,includingbut not limitedto,elec-
trical andmechanicaldamagecausedby improperstorage,failureto usethe proper
gradeandamountof engineoil,failureto keepthe deckclear offlammabledebris,
or failureto maintainthe equipmentaccordingto the instructionscontainedinthe
owner'smanual.
Engine(fuelsystem)cleaningor repairscausedby fueldeterminedto becontami-
natedor oxidized(stale). In general,fuelshould beused within30 daysof its pur-
chasedate.
Normaldeteriorationandwearof the exteriorfinishes,or productlabelreplacement.
Ridingequipmentused forcommercialor rentalpurposes.
LIMITEDWARRANTYON BATTERY
Forninety(90)daysfrom dateof purchase,if anybatteryincludedwiththis ridingequip-
ment provesdefectivein materialor workmanshipand ourtestingdeterminesthe battery
will not hold a charge,Searswill replacethe batteryat nocharge. Duringthe first30
daysof purchase,therewill be nochargesto replacethe batteryat your HOME. After
the first 30 days,foryourconvenience,IN-HOMEwarrantyservicewill still beavail-
ablebut a trip chargewill apply. Thischarge will bewaivedif the Craftsmanproductis
