Low inlet pressure should be increased to a minimum of 20 psi for proper injector performance, and an excessive brine refill cycle time should be lowered.

  If your CSI Water Dispenser softener isn't using salt, it might be due to improper control valve programming, so check and reset the programming. A plugged or restricted drain line needs cleaning of the drain line and/or flow control button. Clean or replace a plugged injector and/or screen. If there's no water in the brine tank, check for restrictions in the BLFC, ensure the safety float isn't stuck, and check the brine tank for leaks. Ensure the line pressure is at least 20 psi if the water pressure is too low. Check brine line connections for air leaks if the brine line injects air during brine draw. For an internal control leak, contact your dealer to check the piston, seals, and spacers for scratches and dents.
