SITUATION
Connection of consumers to
the system
PROBLEM
Many batteries die
prematurely if they are
discharged too much. Too
little power might be delivered
to critical consumers, like
navigation, radio and
emergency lights
SOLUTION
Critical consumers are
connected directly to the

refrigerator, main light and
heating are connected to
the SMARTPASS. When
the Service battery is down
to a critical level, then the
SMARTPASS disconnects these
noncritical consumers.

High current consumers
(>80A) should be connected
directly to the Service or
Starter battery
