    Why won't the tines engage on my Cub Cadet 700 VTT Tiller?

      There are several reasons why the tines on your Cub Cadet Tiller might not engage: * A foreign object may be lodged in the tines. If so, dislodge the object. * Tine hardware may be missing. If so, replace the tine hardware. * The belt may be worn or stretched. If so, replace the belt. * The pulley and idler may not be in the correct adjustment, in which case you should take the tiller to an authorized service dealer.
