BREW VOLUME Factory Pre-Set to Brewer Requirements
You can quickly change the brew volume of your ADS System by following these steps.
Determine Bypass setting BEFORE adjusting brew volume. (See Page 8). Volume should be set to NO greater
than 1” BELOW the TOP Lip of the satellite or server. Less than 1” below the top lip can cause an overflow condi-
tion.
BREW CYCLE COUNTER
This function allows you to see exactly how many brew cycles occurred on the system. It’s ideal for pre-
ventative maintenance programs (i.e., changing of water filters, etc.) and determining
profitability. To view the number of cycles follow these steps:
CYCLE EXAMPLE
SETS PATTERN COUNT FACTOR TOTAL
1st 4 1’s 4
2nd 2 10’s 20
3rd 0 100’s 0
4th 1 1,000’s 1,000
5th 0 10,000’s 0
TOTAL BREWS 1,024
SLEEP MODE Factory Pre-Set to Disabled
Your Curtis ADS System features an energy saving SLEEP Mode. This function conserves energy by auto-
matically placing the unit to sleep (reducing heating tank temperature to 140°F) when it is idle for more than
2 hours. When using SLEEP Mode normal expansion and contraction of water due to changes in tempera-
ture may cause your FIRST Brew after overnight recovery to be slightly greater. Subsequent brew cycles
during regular operation will NOT experience additional volume.
To recover, simply press any BREW (or GRIND Selection if InterLocked) or ON/OFF button. (NOTE:
When recovering by pressing BREW the green brew light will begin blinking, be sure to place the Brew
Cone and Satellite in position. Once brew temperature is reached the brew cycle will automatically start.)
Recovery is indicated by a yellow light on the membrane. In a few minutes the tank will reach brew
temperature setting as indicated by the READY-TO-BREW light. Recovering from SLEEP is faster and
more efficient than heating from an OFF position.
