Installing and Removing the Infant Car Seat
Installing with Base Using LATCH/UAS
10. Place the Infant Car Seat into the Base,
and listen for a CLICK. Check that the
car seat is installed by lifting up on the
Handle.
11. Recheck the Recline Angle to ensure it
remains in the appropriate range for the
child's weight. If not, remove the Base,
adjust the recline angle, and reinstall.
Storing LATCH/UAS
DO NOT store LATCH/UAS on top of Base.
With the LATCH/UAS Strap positioned
under the storage tab AA on the Belt Guide,
route LATCH/UAS Connectors through
Belt Path openings and into LATCH/UAS
Storage Slots B B under Base as shown.
NOTE: Ensure the LATCH/UAS Strap is
slack enough so it lies on the bottom of the
channel under the SafeLock Belt Tensioner.
