What to do if I smell gas coming from my Dacor Ranges?

If you smell gas, it could be due to a burner being on but not lit. Turn the burner-control knob off. Alternatively, it could indicate a gas leak. In this case, evacuate the building and, from a safe location like a neighbor's home, immediately call your gas supplier for directions. If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire department.
