1. Getting started
1. 1. Location: Place the base within 1.5 meters of the mains power and phone
sockets. It should be 1 meter away from other appliances to avoid interference.
1. 2. Handset range: The range is 300 meters outdoors when there is a clear
line of sight between the base and handset. Any obstruction between the base
and handset will reduce the range. Indoors the range will normally be up to 50
meters.

The
icon on the handset show if it is in range. When out of range, the icon
ashes. In a call, a beep will be heard and the line will hang up if out of range.
1. 4. Setting up: The base must be plugged to the mains power at all times. Do
not connect the telephone line cord into the wall socket until the handset is fully
charged. Use only the power adapter and phone line cord supplied.
Connecting the base

is a beep during a call, recharge the handset before using it again..

time or 135 hours standby time. After charging the handset for the rst time,
subsequent charging time is about 6-8 hours a day.
