What to do if my Daikin DX17VSS481AA Air Conditioner shows HI PRESSURE C error?
    • J
      Julie MedinaAug 19, 2025
If your Daikin Air Conditioner displays 'HI PRESSURE C' (Critical), it could be due to several reasons: a blocked or restricted condenser coil, a stop valve not fully open, an overcharge of refrigerant, the outdoor fan not running, an inoperable high-pressure switch (HPS), or a faulty indoor EEV coil. You should check and clean the condenser coil and lines, ensure the stop valve is fully open, verify the refrigerant charge level, inspect the outdoor fan motor and wiring, and check the indoor EEV and its coil. If none of these steps resolve the issue, consider replacing the control board.

What to do if my Daikin Air Conditioner shows LOW PRESSURE C error?
    • L
      Lisa WarrenAug 21, 2025
If your Daikin Air Conditioner displays 'LOW PRESSURE C', it could be due to a stop valve not being completely open, a restriction in the refrigerant lines, a low refrigerant charge, a refrigerant leak, an inoperable or improperly connected low-pressure sensor, an indoor fan motor not functioning correctly, or a faulty indoor EEV, EEV coil or control board. Check the opening of the stop valve, look for restrictions in the refrigerant line, check the refrigerant charge level, test for system leaks, check the connection to the low-pressure sensor, and inspect the indoor EEV, EEV coil and control board. Replace components as needed.

What to do if my Daikin DX17VSS481AA shows HI PRESSURE M error?
    • K
      Katherine DavisAug 23, 2025
If your Daikin Air Conditioner displays 'HI PRESSURE M' (Minor), it might be caused by a blocked or restricted condenser coil, a stop valve that isn't fully open, an overcharge of refrigerant, a non-running outdoor fan, an inoperable high pressure switch (HPS), or a faulty indoor EEV coil. To solve this, check and clean the condenser coil and lines, make sure the stop valve is fully open, verify the refrigerant charge level, inspect the outdoor fan motor and wiring, and check the indoor EEV and its coil. If the problem persists, consider replacing the control board.

What to do if my Daikin DX17VSS481AA Air Conditioner shows COMPRESSOR FAIL error?
    • N
      Nicholas ButlerAug 28, 2025
If your Daikin Air Conditioner shows a 'COMPRESSOR FAIL' error, it could be due to a stop valve not being completely open, a lost phase in the compressor wire, or compressor motor failure. You should check that the stop valve is fully open, inspect the wire between the control board and the compressor, and inspect the compressor motor for proper function. Replace components as necessary.

What does PCB OR FAN FAIL mean on my Daikin Air Conditioner?
    • F
      finleyericAug 30, 2025
If your Daikin Air Conditioner displays 'PCB OR FAN FAIL', it could be due to an obstruction in fan rotation, the outdoor fan motor not being connected properly, the outdoor fan not running, a faulty control board, or electrical noise. Check and clean the grille of any debris, check the wiring from the outdoor fan motor to the control board, and check the outdoor fan motor and wiring. If necessary, replace the control board.
