Method of Error Detection
The detection is based on abnormal resistance value of
the thermistor.
Error Decision Conditions
When the outdoor air thermistor has short circuit or open
circuit.
Supposed Causes

Troubleshooting
YES
Is
connector
connected to the
outdoor unit
PCB?
NO
YES
Connect the
thermistor, and
operate the unit.
Caution
Be sure to turn off the power switch before
connecting or disconnecting connectors, or parts
may be damaged.
NO
Disconnect
thermistor from
outdoor unit PCB, and
measure resistance.
Is resistance
normal?
Replace the
thermistor.
Replace the
outdoor unit
PCB.
