14 Removal Procedure
7. Drain Pan / Swing Motors
Warning
Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before
disassembling work.
Step Procedure Points
1. Remove the drain pan.
Use a short screwdriver from
the back.
1 Lift up the indoor unit
slightly and remove the
screw on the back.
2 Disconnect the drain
hose.
Hold the indoor unit up with a
piece of wood.
Place a plastic sheet around
the drain pan to prevent
wetting the floor with
remaining drain.
If the drain hose is
embedded in the wall,
disconnect the drain hose
beforehand.
3 Remove the 4 screws.
