Application Information
Drain Test
• Connect the main drain pipe to the exible drain.
• Feed water from exible drain hose to check the piping for leakage.
• When the test is completed, connect the exible drain hose to the drain connector on the indoor unit.

NOTE
This Indoor Unit uses a drain pump for condensed water drainage. Install the unit horizontally to prevent
water leakage or condensation around the air outlet.

The indoor unit must be installed such that there is no short circuit of the cool discharge. Respect the
installation clearance. Do not put the indoor unit where there is direct sunlight on unit. The location is suitable
for piping and drainage and it must have a large distance between a door and unit.
Ceiling Concealed Mounting
• Use the hanger supplied with the unit.
• Make sure that the ceiling is sufciently strong to withstand the weight.
