Copper wire is required for all eld installed conductors. Supply
voltage must not vary by more than 10% of the unit voltage
specied on the nameplate. Phase voltage imbalance must
not exceed +/- 2%. (Calculate the average voltage of the
three legs. The leg with voltage deviating the farthest from
the average value must not be more than 2% away.) Contact
the local power company for correction of improper voltage or
phase imbalance.
The unit has an option to come with a GFCI service outlet
pre-installed in order to satisfy the code requirements of NEC
210.63. If the GFCI or the service lights were selected as eld
powered, conductors supplying a 115V 20/15A source must be
run to terminals in the control panel as shown in the example
in Figure 133. These terminals are typically located in the Main
Control Panel at the High Voltage Terminal Block, TBHV.
If the GFCI or service lights were selected as unit powered,
then no additional wiring must be run beyond the 3 phase
service conductors to power the 115V service outlet. Consult
the Unit Specic Electrical Schematics to determine the
installation requirements.
