1.1 Main Functions in Split Type
1.1.1 Power-Airflow Flap & Diffuser

The large flaps send ample volume of warm air downward to heat the feet of people in the room,
while the wide-angle diffuser ensures the air reaches every corner of the room.
The upper and lower flaps located at the air outlet provide optimum air flow control in the
cooling, heating and dry modes. In a heating operation, the large flaps direct warm air
downward to heat the feet area. The wide-angle diffuser presses the air down to lay a “carpet” of
warm air above the floor. In a cooling operation, the diffuser is retracted into the air conditioner
body to distribute cool air throughout the room.
In Heating Operation
Warm air is sent out straight down by the flaps, while the diffuser produces an air stream that
presses down the warm air.
In Cooling Operation
The diffuser is stored inside the unit, and the wide-angle flaps send cool air throughout the
room.
