Safety circuit
If one or more cooking zones are accidentally left switched on, a safety switch-off is
activated after a certain time.
• The time period depends on the power level set for this zone.
• If both zones are in operation at the same time and one of them reaches its safety
switch-off point, only this zone is switched off.
The table below shows the time limits for the individual performance levels.

Cleaning after use
Clean the hob after each use (► Cleaning and care) to prevent food residues or grease
splashes from drying on it.
✓ Wipe off the glas ceramic hob with a damp cloth and a little detergent.
✓ Remove any splashes of food or grease immediately.
✓ Wipe the hob dry with a clean cloth.

Keep warm function
When the keep warm function is activated, all previous multi-
ring settings are automatically saved.
Touch the button for the selected cooking zone.
Touch the KEEP WARM button and the cooking zone display
shows the following symbol:
1. The symbol (see column) is displayed alternately and
this means that the selected heating zone is under heat
retention level A / b / c and only the inner ring is
switched on.
2. If the symbol (see column) appears alternately, this
means that the selected heating zone is under heat
retention level A / b / c and both the centre and the
inner ring are switched on.
3. If the symbol (see column) is displayed alternately, this
means that the selected heating zone is under heat
retention level A / b / c and that all rings are switched
on.
➢ The residual heat indicator goes out when the power supply to the
appliance is interrupted.
