1 Introduction
1.1 Purpose of the Manual
This installation guide provides information for the quick
installation of a VLT

PROFINET MCA 120 interface in a
VLT
®
frequency converter.
The installation guide is intended for use by qualified
personnel. Users are assumed to be familiar with the VLT
®
frequency converter, with PROFINET technology, and with
the PC or PLC that is used as a master in the system.
Read the instructions before installation and ensure that
the instructions for safe installation are observed.

any system complying with the PROFINET schema version
2.2 and 2.3 standards. PROFINET provides users with the
