The Go-tcha Evolve Pro+ for Pokémon GO is a wearable device designed to enhance the Pokémon GO gaming experience by allowing players to catch Pokémon and collect items from Pokéstops automatically or manually, without constantly looking at their smartphone.
The primary function of the Go-tcha Evolve Pro+ is to interact with the Pokémon GO app to automate certain in-game actions. It can auto-catch Pokémon (both known and unknown) and auto-collect items from Pokéstops. Players also have the option to manually trigger these actions. The device provides notifications through vibrations and on-screen animations to alert users about nearby Pokémon or Pokéstops, as well as the success or failure of catches and item collections. It tracks catch success rates per gaming session and displays battery life. The device connects to the Pokémon GO app via Bluetooth.
Waking the Screen: To activate the Go-tcha Evolve Pro+ screen, press the rotary crown button located on the right-hand side. The initial animation will also display the current software version.
Home Screen: The default screen after waking up is the clock. If connected to the Pokémon GO app and the 'Buddy Timer' is set, any remaining time will be shown below the clock.
Buddy Timer: A 30-minute Buddy Timer can be set to remind you to feed your Pokémon buddy. This timer functions even when the Go-tcha Evolve Pro+ is not connected to the Pokémon GO app. To set the timer, press the orange button on the left side twice. When the timer expires, the watch vibrates, and an animation appears for 60 seconds (which can be cancelled by pressing the orange button once). To restart the timer at any point, press the orange button twice.
Setting the Time: The Go-tcha Evolve Pro+ supports both 12 and 24-hour clock formats. From the clock screen, press and hold the rotary crown button for 2 seconds to enter 'Clock Update Mode'. The time display will change color, with the hour highlighted in red, indicating it's changeable. Turn the rotary crown up or down, or swipe left or right on the screen to set the desired hour. To switch to minutes, press the rotary crown button again; the minutes will then be highlighted in red. To change between 12 and 24-hour display, press the rotary crown button once more, and the am/pm/24 indicator will be highlighted in red. Use the rotary crown or swipe to adjust. To set the time to pm after selecting am, press the dial to re-select the hour field, scroll past 12, and the clock will change to pm.
Navigating Menu Screens: From the clock home screen, swipe left/right or turn the rotary crown up/down to navigate through the main menu screens, which include Catch Success Rate, Bluetooth Connection, Battery Life, Watch Settings, and Catch Settings.
Catch Success Rate: This screen displays the percentage of successful catches for each gaming session. A session begins when the device connects to the Pokémon GO app and ends when it times out or disconnects. Reconnecting the device starts a new session and resets the stats.
Connecting to Pokémon GO:
Reconnecting: Pokémon GO requires devices to be reconnected after 1 hour of gameplay. The Go-tcha Evolve Pro+ will alert you upon disconnection. To reconnect, either tap the on-screen animation to activate Bluetooth search/connect or press the reconnect button on the side of the watch twice.
Watch Settings Menu: To access watch settings, tap the screen from the Watch Settings menu icon. This will take you to a sub-menu where you can swipe left/right to navigate through options like Vibrate On/Off, Silence Notifications On/Off, Rotate Screen On/Off, Vibration Intensity More/Less, and Screen Brightness More/Less.
Catch Settings Menu: To modify in-game play settings, tap the screen from the Catch Settings menu icon. This leads to a sub-menu with options for Auto-Catch Pokéstop On/Off, Auto-Catch Unknown Pokémon On/Off, Auto-Catch Known Pokémon On/Off, and Accuracy More/Less.
Manually Catching Pokémon/Collecting Items: If auto-catch features are off, you can manually catch Pokémon or collect items. Ensure 'Silence Notifications' is off and 'Vibrate Notifications' is on to receive alerts.
ONLY Auto-Catch/Manual Catch Items At Pokéstops: To auto-catch only Pokéstop items and not Pokémon, adjust settings in the Pokémon GO app: Open Pokémon GO App > Main Menu > Settings > 'Connected Devices and Services' > 'Accessory Devices' > Disable 'Identify Nearby Pokémon'. If this is not done, the device will prioritize Pokémon notifications. Then, on the Go-tcha Evolve Pro+, toggle 'Auto-catch' Pokéstops to 'on' and 'Auto-catch' Unknown and Known Pokémon to 'off'.
Dismissing Notifications/Overruling Auto-catch: Swipe down on the screen to dismiss notifications or overrule the auto-catch function for Pokémon and Pokéstops. The device will move to the next notification. You can still manually select Pokémon and Pokéstops on your smartphone, which overrides the Go-tcha Evolve Pro+.
Notification Screens: The device displays various notification screens for events such as Bag Full, Known/Unknown Pokémon in Range, Failed to Catch, Catch Success, Caught Known/Unknown Pokémon, Mystery Item, No Pokéballs, Updating Software, Pokéstop Success (x2, x3, x4, x5, 6+ items), Pokéstop Fail, and Pokéstop Success.
Resetting the Time: The time on the Go-tcha Evolve Pro+ will need to be reset if the battery runs flat.
Charging: Charge the Go-tcha Evolve Pro+ upon receipt. Connect it to the mag-loc USB charging unit and then to a power source. The battery level animation during charging will reflect the current charge level. Charging from empty to full takes approximately 2 hours, though this can vary depending on the power source.
Firmware Updates: To ensure the device runs the latest firmware, download the Go-tcha Evolve Pro+ App from the Apple App Store or use the Web App for Android users. To connect the Go-tcha Evolve Pro+ to its app for updates, close the Pokémon GO App first. Press the button on the Go-tcha Evolve Pro+ to wake the screen, and it will automatically connect to the open Go-tcha Evolve Pro+ App, downloading updates automatically. Note that the Go-tcha Evolve Pro+ cannot connect to more than one app simultaneously; if Pokémon GO is running in the background, close both apps before attempting to connect to the Go-tcha Evolve Pro+ App.
