RIPTION
The
clu
tch
driven
plate
and
pressure
plate
assembly
is
of
the
same
design
as
that
fitted to
the
1200
Series
with
the
following
exceptions
The
throw
out
bearing
release
me
chanism
differs
in
that
the
release
fork
is
mounted
on
a
shaft
which
extends
through
the
clutch
housing
The
release
fork
is
mounted
on
the
centre
of
the
shaft
by
means
of
two
tapered
pins
with
the
fork
extending
down
to
contact
the
throw
out
bearing
sleeve
thus
engaging
and
disengaging
the
bearing
A
return
spring
is
fitted
to
the
shaft
to
assist
in
the
return
of
the
fork
and
release
uf
the
bearing
when
the
clutch
pedal
is
returned
from
the
depressed
position
Operation
of
the
release
fork
on
the
mechanical
clutch
is
by
means of
a
cable
which
is connected
to
the
arm
of
the
release
shaft
at
one
end
and
to
the
clutch
pedal
at
the
opposite
end
Removal
of
the
throw
out
bearing
and
release
shaft
differs
in
that
with
the
gearbox
removed the
bearing
and
sleeve
are
removed
first
tap
out
the
tapered
dowels
and
withdraw
the
shaft
sufficiently
to
remove
the
return
spring
and
fork
then
withdraw
the
shaft
Throw
out
bearing
adjustment
is
achieved
by
adjusting
