Lower
the
jack
supporting
the
transmission
assembly
and
withdraw
it
from
the
vehicle
TO
INSTAL
Installation
is
a
reversal
of
the
removal
procedure
with
particular
attention
to
the
following
points
I
Ensure
that
the
converter
is
fully
engaged
in
the
front
of
the
transmission
and
in
the
spigot
in
the
rear
of
the
crankshaft
2
Ensore
that
the
attachment
faces
of
the
torque
converter
housing
and
the
rear
of
the
engine
crankcase
are
perfectly
dean
and
free
of
any
burrs
3
Instal
the
bolts
securing
the
converter
to
the
drive
plate
and
tighten
evenly
to
the
specified
torque
4
Tighten
the
bolts
securing
the
converter
housing
to
the
rear
of
the
engine
to
the
specified
torque
5
Fill
the
transmission
with
the
specified
grade
and
quantity
of
the
recommended
hydr
ulic
fluid
6
Check
and
if
necessary
adjust
the
selector
linkage
7
Check
the
neutral
safety
switch
and
kickdown
switch
Replace
if
necessary
8
Road
test
the
vehicle
and
recheck
the
hydraulic
fluid
level
as
described
in
HYDRAULIC
FLUID
TO
CHECK
AND
TOP
UP
