backlash
on
the
dial
gauge

the
crownwheel

is
correct
when

carrier
bearing
cap
bolts
and
detach
the
caps

that
the
caps
are
marked

relation

position

Lift
out
the
differential
assembly
from
the
carriei
but
nsure
that the
pearing
outer
cones
are
kept
with
thei
respective
bearings

To
facilitate
assembly
carry
out

check

the
torque

taper
bearing
outer
cones
from
the

Before
dismlUltIing
the
differeniial
check

bearings
at
each
end
of
the
differimtiatcase
Provided
the
bearings
are
fit
for
further
service

not
remove
them
from
position

Mark
the
position
of
the
crown
wheel
in
relation
to
the
differential
case

locks

the

differential
shaft

the
differential

out

pinions

thru

It
is
important

each
pinion
and
side
gear
together
with
its
thrust
washer
is
marked
in
relation
to
the
differential
case

ensure
original
installation
on
assembly
