RUNNER 22
5/1 – SWITCHING ON THE MACHINE
The battery is connected, the brush/es is/are mounted, the squeegee rubber is mounted, the
solution tank is filled and the solution recovery tank is empty, all according to the instructions given
so far. Turn the key to the ON position, set the quantity of solution required for the floor by means of
switch F and cock Q ( pages 16 and 17 ), lower the head and the squeegee by means of switches
D) and E) .
Push the Operation lever forwards and accelerate, to start washing and drying.
5/2 – SETUP – OPERATION
Pressing the operating control will cause solution to flow down and rotation of the brush/es. The
quantity of solution that flows down to the floor must be selected according to the type of floor and
the dirt to be removed. Shiny floors that have just been dusted require little water, extremely dirty
cement floors require lots of water. The movement speed during operation not only depends on the
working space but also on the type of floor and the dirt to be removed. If there are stains on the
floor or particularly hard-to-clean points, it may be necessary to increase the brush pressure on the
floor by means of switch E) on page 16 and/or stop the machine in the required position. For proper
cleaning, the rear squeegee rubber must be inclined by about 45 ° along its entire length. The
machine is already set at this inclination, but if the squeegee inclination changes due to wear or
tampering, the required inclination can be obtained by adjusting the knob.
