MAINTENANCE
Warning - the maintenance of electrical components requires special skills
and is not carried in 󰘵ores but in Decathlon regional workshops and can take
several days.
All cleaning work mu󰘵 be done with the battery on the bike but the bike
turned o󰘯! That way, the battery connections will be hidden and protected
from the water.
Electrical or mechanical maintenance operations mu󰘵 be carried out with
the bike switched o󰘯, with the battery removed from the bike. Maintenance
operations speci󰘰c to the bike’s electric sy󰘵em other than checking the
connections mu󰘵 be carried out by quali󰘰ed, trained personnel.
NB: the weight of the bicycle may exceed that of your assembly 󰘵and or
bicycle rack.
6 months
We advise you to bring your electrically-assi󰘵ed bike back to your DECATH-
LON 󰘵ore for its 6-month service.
Always carry out maintenance operations in su󰘲cient light.
If the bike or battery su󰘯ers a fall, check that your battery is intact.
If the battery is physically damaged, go to a DECATHLON workshop for a
battery diagno󰘵ic te󰘵.
