Improperly adjusted refrigerant
expansion valve(s)
• Consult Dectron or a Dectron-certified
technician.
Defective temperature sensor
• Consult Dectron or a Dectron-certified
technician.
COMPRESSOR X LOW

Improperly adjusted refrigerant
expansion valve(s)
• Consult Dectron or a Dectron-certified
technician.
Improperly adjusted pressure
control valve(s)
• Consult Dectron or a Dectron-certified
technician.
Excessive return airflow
• Contact an air-balance service to be sure the
airflow is within tolerance.
Inadequate refrigerant
• With the compressor running, check for
bubbles in the sight glass(es). If bubbles are
present contact Dectron or a Dectron-
certified technician.
Inadequate return airflow
• Contact an air-balance service to be sure the
airflow is within tolerance.

Inadequate refrigerant charge
• The refrigerant sight glasses must be com-
pletely full whenever the compressor has
been running for at least ten minutes. If this
is not the case, consult Dectron or a Dectron-
certified technician.
Inadequate return airflow
• Contact an air-balance service to be sure the
airflow is within tolerance.
Manual isolation valves not
opened at installation
• Be sure all manual isolation valves are open.
Clogged refrigerant filter-drier
• Consult Dectron or a Dectron-certified
technician.
Improperly adjusted pressure
control valves
• Consult Dectron or a Dectron-certified
technician.
Defective refrigerant expansion
valve
• Consult Dectron or a Dectron-certified
technician.
Defective pressure switch
• Consult Dectron or a Dectron-certified
technician.
Low room air temperature
• Be sure set points correspond to those
shown on unit nameplate. Be sure room
heater is working properly.
Low room humidity
• Be sure set points correspond to those
shown on unit nameplate. Be sure outdoor
makeup airflow rate is not excessive.
