1 Safety

1.1 General safety instructions

For the installer:

Danger

If you smell gas:

1. Do not use naked flames, do not smoke and

do not operate electrical contacts or switches

(doorbell, lighting, motor, lift etc).

2. Shut off the gas supply.

3. Open the windows.

4. Trace possible leaks and seal them off imme

diately.

5. If the leak is upstream of the gas meter, notify

the gas company.

Danger

If you smell flue gases:

1. Switch the boiler off.

2. Open the windows.

3. Trace possible leaks and seal them off imme

diately.

Caution

After maintenance or repair work, check the en

tire heating installation to ensure that there are no

leaks.
