Compass Calibration
·To ensure a stable flight, we recommend that pilots perform a compass calibration
before each flight.
· We recommend that the pilot hold the drone approximately 3 ft above the ground while
performing the compass calibration.
·DO NOT calibrate the compass in locations where magnetic interference may occur,
such as close to magnetite deposits or large metallic structures such as parking
structures, steel reinforced basements, bridges, cars, or scaffolding.
·DO NOT carry objects (such as mobile phones) that contain ferromagnetic materials
near the drone during calibration.
Point the head of the drone upward, and
spin the drone three times till the transmit-
ter emits a double beep, which means
that you have successfully performed a
compass calibration.
