NOTICE The intended use of the equipment is to be installed in the fuse box and used
together with DEFA Power as a dynamic load balancer for optimizing electric vehicle
charging.
Installation planning
• Make sure to follow local regulations which may overrule some of the installation requirements
below.
• The installation site must not be located in an area subject to flooding, in close proximity to
water, or in areas used to store objects or containers containing liquids.
• Make sure there are 2 DIN-module spaces available for the installation.
• Make sure the network the charging station is connected to is also available for DEFA Balancer.
• Make sure conductors are secured from strain, including twisting where they are connected and
shall be protected from abrasion.
• Make sure wires used with this product have an operating temperature range of at least -25 to
+60°C. Copper or aluminium cables can be used.
