  To reset the Defiant Lighting Equipment 48 LED Solar Motion Light, follow these steps: First, switch the main switch to the OFF position. Next, turn all three dials completely clockwise. Then, turn the main switch to ON for 2 seconds and back to OFF. After that, turn the LUX dial completely counter-clockwise. Allow the light to recharge for two days. Finally, turn the main switch to Auto again and check if the light resumes normal operation at nighttime. If the unit still doesn't respond to motion at night, slowly turn the LUX dial clockwise until the unit activates to adjust the light sensitivity to the surrounding environment.
