Machine is foaming
excessively
It is normal to have small amounts
of foam on the record during the
washing cycle, but if the machine is
generating too much foam, then it
can cause water droplets running
down on the record label.
Make sure that the filter has not
clogged. Clean the filter aer
every 50 cycles.
Fill the removable water tank
with as much water as you feel
comfoable carrying.
Set the water level setting to
Medium. The suace skimming
filtration is pulling water into
the filter quite close to the
water line. In rare cases the Low
water level setting can cause
the filtration pump to suck in
air which will cause additional
foaming. Make sure that the
removable water tank is all the
way in. Press it gently aer the
tank has been inseed.
Use two water tanks when
cleaning a larger number of
records. Swap water tanks
between cycles, so that one
tank can cool while the other
one is in use.
Place diilled water ice cubes
or a small ice pack in the re-
movable water tank while the
machine is in use.
11 Troubleshooting guide
To prevent foaming:
Make sure that you are not ex-
ceeding the maximum amount
of cleaning fluid per water tank.
Degritter cleaning fluid should
be added only once per water
tank. Do not add additional
fluid when topping up the re-
movable water tank.
If there is a chance that too
much cleaning fluid has been
used or if you have experiment-
ed with other cleaning fluids,
then please clean the machine
as described in the 09 Cleaning
the machine.
Turn o the machine from the
switch on the back when re-
placing the water tank. Turning
the machine o and on from
the switch will a booting up
with priming. Properly primed
pumps will generate less foam.
