Hemotek 2 contains, in some of its parts, materials that at the end of the life span of the
equipment must be wasted following the rules of the local competent Authority.
In particular, the equipment contains the following materials and/or components:
- iron
- copper
- aluminum
- plastic materials not biodegradable
- glass fibers for electronic boards
- Ni-MH batteries
Delcon s.r.l. will not pay any cost for the waste management of the equipment, as well for the
waste procedure that must be totally organized by the owner of the unit.
When this crossed-out wheeled bin symbol is attached to a product or its packaging
it means the product is covered by the European Directive 2002/96/EC for Waste
electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and by the European Directive
2006/66/EC on batteries and accumulators and waste batteries and accumulators.
This electrical and electronic device cannot be disposed of in a normal landfill.
Instead the equipment must be disposed of separately from the municipal waste stream via
designated collection facilities appointed by the government or the local authorities.
In order to eliminate any health hazards to the employees of the recycling companies, the
device must be free from toxic, infectious, radioactive or organic substances. This is
responsibility of the Users.
Illegal disposal of the product by the holder includes the application of administrative sanctions
provided by national law in force.
