1.1 Introduction
Hemotek 2 is a compact and accurate electronic blood bags mixer, to make the blood collection
easier. Hemotek 2 mixes continuously the blood with the anticoagulant in some sterile bag, it
shows the volume collected, it measures and check the flow to remain inside a pre-set range
and that the donation can end within a maximum collection time.
The collection procedure is controlled by a microprocessor opportunely programmed. When the
desired volume is reached, the pinch valve will clamp the tube warning the operator with an
acoustic and visual alarm that the donation is finished.
The main features of Hemotek 2
are the following:
Power line at 115/230 VAC, 50-60Hz single phase or with optional rechargeable battery.
Automatic and adjustable low and high flow alarm (low 8 – 80 and max 81 – 240 ml/min).
At the end of the donation will show the collected volume in ml and the donation time in
minutes and tens of seconds.
Visual and acoustic alarm for end of donation.
Safety timer for maximum donation time adjustable up to 20 minutes.
Possibility of instant flow control with Pause function.
Weighing range adjustable from 0 to 990 ml by steps of 10ml.
Automatic tare to zero for the bag weight.
Semi-automatic calibration with calibration weight (not included, accept weight from 200
to 800 g).
Error codes messages in case of malfunction.
