Power and acoustics
Power supply units
The power supply subsystem is formed with a AC-DC cable power supply. The power supply provides +12V and +12Vaux for non-
redundant design. There are several voltage regulators in the system to supply dierent voltage levels needed by dierent logic
devices.
The following table shows the heat dissipation of the power supply units:

Acoustics
The PowerEdge T140 is a tower server appropriate for quiet oce environment. The acoustical output is not noticeable under idle or
typical operating condition. Acoustical performance for two congurations are provided: typical and feature rich. The following tables
contains a summary of the conguration and acoustical performance of the PET140. Each conguration has been tested according
to Dell EMC acoustical standards for tower servers.
