Prerequisites
1 Remove the base cover.
2 Remove the battery.
3 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in “Removing the hard drive”.
4 Remove the keyboard daughter-board.
5 Remove the touch pad.
6 Remove the fan.
7 Remove the heat sink.
8 Remove the I/O board.
9 Remove the power and volume-buttons board.
10 Remove the speakers.
11 Remove the display assembly.
12 Remove the power-adapter port.
13 Remove the system board.
Procedure
After performing the steps in prerequisites we are left with the palmrest and
keyboard assembly.
