Draft Mode
Specifies the number of dots
printed per inch (dpi). The higher
the setting, the sharper the
printed characters and graphics
appear.
l If the print jobs are mostly
text, select 600dpi-
Normal for the highest
quality printing.
l Select 1200dpi-Best when
your job contains
bitmapped images, such as
scanned photos or some
graphics, that will benefit
from enhanced line
screening.
Lightens or darkens printed
output and conserves toner.
Lighten or darken the print on
the page by changing the toner
density setting. The Normal
setting usually produces the best
result. Use the Light toner
density setting to save toner.
Set the default number of copies
by selecting any number from 1
to 999.
Choose the default orientation of
the print image on the page.
Set the margin of print materials
for one-sided printing. Increase
or decrease the value in 0.1 mm
increments.
Top Margin
[0-250]
Left Margin
[0-164]
l Top Margin: Set the top margin,
from 0 to 250 mm.
l Left Margin: Set the left margin,
from 0 to 164 mm.
To print on both sides of paper.
Choose the binding edge as follows.
l Long Edge: Flip on the long
edge.
l Short Edge: Flip on the short
edge.
