Steps
1. Align the screw holes on the assembly inner frame with the screw holes on the system board and the palm-rest assembly.
NOTE:
Ensure that the tab on the top-left corner of the assembly inner frame is installed underneath the tab on the
palm-rest assembly.
2. Replace the fifteen screws (M2x3) for the models shipped with fingerprint reader, that secure the assembly inner frame to
the system board and the palm-rest assembly.
3. Replace the two screws (M2x4) to secure the 4-cell support frame to the assembly inner frame.
4. Align and place the fingerprint bracket on the assembly inner frame.
5. Replace the single screw (M2x3) for the models shipped with fingerprint reader, to secure the fingerprint bracket to the
assembly inner frame.
NOTE:
For the models shipped without fingerprint reader, you must replace seventeen screws in order to install the
assembly inner frame.
6. Route the antennas cable through the routing guides on the assembly inner frame.
