Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task

NOTE: If the battery is disconnected from system board, there is delay during computer boot as the computer undergoes
RTC reset.
Steps
1. Align and place the battery into the computer.
2. Install the single (M2x4) screw and tighten the four captive screws to secure the battery in place.
