NOTE: Hard drive is available only on computers that are shipped with 3-cell battery.
Remove the base cover.
Procedure
1. Using the pull tab, disconnect the battery cable from the system board.
2. Remove the four screws (M2x3) that secure the battery to the palm-rest assembly and keyboard shield.
3. Lift the battery off the palm-rest assembly.
4. Turn the computer over, open the display, and press and hold the power button for 15 seconds to ground the system board.
