Prerequisites
1. Remove the base cover.
2. Remove the battery.
Procedure
1. Open the latch and disconnect the touchpad cable from the system board.
2. Peel the tapes that secure the touchpad to the keyboard shield.
3. Remove the four screws (M2x2) that secure the touchpad to the palm rest assembly.
4. Lift the touchpad, along with the cable, at an angle from under the touch-pad bracket off the palm-rest assembly.
