Procedure
1. Close the display and turn the computer over.
2. Loosen the six captive screws that secure the base cover to the palm-rest assembly.
3. Remove the 4 screws (M2.5x5) that secure the base cover to the palm-rest assembly.
4. Using a plastic scribe, pry and release the tabs on the base cover from the slots on the palm-rest assembly.
5. Lift the base cover from the palm-rest assembly.
