Procedure
1. Using the alignment posts, place the fan on the palm-rest assembly.
2. Align the screw holes on the fan with the screw holes on the keyboard shield.
3. Replace the two screws (M2x3) that secure the fan to the keyboard shield.
4. Connect the fan cable to the system board.
5. Route the I/O-board cables through the routing guides on the fan.
6. Slide the I/O-board cable into the connector on the system board and close the latch to secure the cable.
7. Adhere the tape that secures the I/O-board cable to the system board.
Post-requisites
Replace the base cover.
