Installing the voltage-regulator heat sink - Location 3
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following image indicates the location of the voltage-regulator heat sink and provides a visual representation of the
installation procedure.
Steps
1. Align the screw holes on the voltage-regulator heat sink to the screw holes on the system board and adhere the voltage-
regulator heat sink to the system board.
2. Replace the three (M3x5) screws to secure the voltage-regulator heat sink to the system board.

1. Install the air shroud.
2. Install the side cover.
